Culture Roads

You are invited to participate in a 3-week recurring cohort on National Conversation about Race Relations over Sunday Brunch.

In order to heal this deep and aching wound, we need to engage — with ourselves and each other while also actively spreading awareness to the demoralizing practices of racism. YACs vision is for these Collective Chats to provide a safe place in which we can talk amongst ourselves about ways we can transform our personal life for the benefit of our families and friends, giving active input to the community about some ideas that will bring about ongoing change.

These conversations are intended to create a relational atmosphere where we, a varied group of people, can speak about our experience and interactions on race relations. These sessions will take the format of:

  • Guided Conversations: Angela M. Mosley, M.Ed., ABD (Facilitator)

  • Open Forum for Questions: Sheriffa Jones, M.S. & Erin Latham, M.F.A., ABD (Facilitators)

If you decide to participate, you will be asked to engage in some work to prepare for an honest, forward-thinking discussion so that we can provide our best thinking and help to shape ourselves in the 21st century.

Should you have questions, please contact YAC via email at .

We hope you will consider being part of this important conversation about how we can work together to move our communities, and this country to the next level. Please feel free to pass this information along to friends you believe would be interested in these conversations and for those who would greatly benefit from these small group discussions.
